“Gue sedang mencari jati diri By…”

“Mencari jati diri dalam bermusik maksudnya hahaha”

Well, udah ketuaan emang kalo gue mencari jati diri sekarang yah? Hahaha. Anyway, itu percakapan gue tadi siang di BBM sama Eby.

Asal percakapan itu sendiri muncul karena akhir-akhir ini gue sering banget mikir-mikir random. Salah satunya tentang musik. Gue nggak ngerti musik, seriusan. Gue cuma tahu, gue enjoy banget saat ngedenger musik atau saat bermusik.

Gue nggak ngerti note-note balok atau istilah musik. Nggak tahu juga musik yang bagus itu yang seperti apa. Nggak ngerti juga kenapa musik harus ditambahin ini biar begini, atau dimasukin unsur itu biar begitu.

Gue cuma ingin membuat musik yang simpel dan dari hati. Musik yang datang karena gue murni ingin bermusik. Musik yang bukan untuk bersaing. Musik untuk menghibur dan merasa bareng-bareng. Musik untuk bercerita.

Kadang… Hal yang paling sederhana justru yang paling mampu membuat orang tersentuh kan?

Already saw the new Paramore’s music video called “Still Into You”? I felt surprised when i was watching it. Why? Because the music video is soooo colorful and fun and… A lil bit pop. And so is the music. I even asked, “Is this Paramore? Paramore like Paramore that I’ve been listening for years?”

And I just realized that this song is totally different from Now, the other song from their fourth album. When you hear Now, you will feel that this song is strong, powerful, and more rock maybe, though it’s still a bit different from the old Paramore songs. And talk about their new album, I have read some reviews about it. Most of the reviewers said that the album has diversity in music. Which is awesome. I should prove it by hearing the whole song on this album I think.

Okay back to the song. Even though it feels different and poppy, I seriously love the song. And the refrain part is still stuck in my head until now. Can’t wait to sing the song with my friends in karaoke. Haha.

And well, It’s fun watching Hayley Williams dancing and singing in the candy color outfit. I love her new hair color, half pink and half orange. But what I love the most is her white boot and her yellow-paint-drip tights. Oh, she’s always been my role model anyway.

I guess I’m still into you, hey Paramore.

Saya sedih. Karena lupa bahwa langkah tak selamanya mulus. Karena sekali lagi percaya pada orang yang salah. Karena mengharapkan sesuatu yang tak mungkin. Karena cuma bisa diam. Karena tak bisa mengucapkan “selamat tinggal” walau sudah muak.
